WWC37 - Jackie's Sketch Challenge

This week's Watercooler Wednesday challenge.  Jackie Susnik has provided us with a sketch for this challenge and it's surprising how the same sketch can take so many different forms depending on who is inspired by it.

This is my design for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 37.  It is difficult to get a good picture of an acetate card.  I put this on a black background and hope you can see the colours.

I used a window sheet for the square card and embossed the snowflakes (from The Snowflake Spot and Letterpress Winter) with white embossing powder.  The diagonal stipe and the round background for the words are Bashful Blue cardstock.  There is a scalloped circle of metallic silver behind the blue cardstock.  I used the stamp set Joyful Season for the sentiment on the front and inside of the card.

  1. Wow, Betty, what an amazing card! Yes, it's difficult to get a good photo of something so shiny, but I imagine that in person it seems as if you're holding snowflakes in your hands. Such a great idea and beautifully created. Thanks so much for joining us this week for our Watercooler Wednesday challenge.

  4. Betty Lee, this is so cool. I love ascetate cards, but it is so difficult to capture how pretty they are in real life. Thank you so much for joining the Watercooler Challenge!
