This week's Watercooler Wednesday WWC106
It's another Clean & Simple challenge and this time Heidi is asking for sparkle---lots and lots of sparkle. Who doesn't like sparkle, right?
Well, clean and simple is always a challenge. My card, this week, uses the Balloon Celebration stamp set with the colours, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, and Real Red on Whisper White card stock.
And for the sparkle, I used Stampin Up Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

This week the Watercooler Wednesday WWC105 challenge is a special colour challenge
It's a colour challenge based on the image shown below. You can see the colours Marsha has suggested below the photo, based on Stampin' Up! colours. I
Marsha's SU! colour suggestions (from left to right):
Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Peekaboo Peach, Rich Razzleberry, Emerald Envy, Mint Macaron
My entry into the challenge this week is a pop up box card, made for my sister-in-law's birthday. I started with Whisper White card stock for the base of the box and covered it with retired DSP. The flowers and leaves were Peekaboo Peach, Rich Razzleberry and Mint Macaron using the Botanical Builder Die. The veins in the leaves are made from the Botanical Blooms stamp with Emerald Envy. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. AND set amongst the flowers is "60" die cut from Blushing Bride Shimmer paper.

Watercooler Wednesday WWC104
This week the Watercooler Wednesday challenge is a sketch by Kath.
Lots of inspiration from Kath's challenge.
I choose to make a Valentines' card. Here is the front.
and the inside of the card
I started with Pink Pirouette card stock and layered Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and a long retired Valentines' DSP. I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets die cut and the hearts from the Up and Away Framelits. The sentiments are from retired sets of I (Heart) Hearts, Filled with Love and Valentine Defined. I finished the card with three pink rhinestones.
Thanks for looking at my card.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge WWC74, this week Marsha Reed is presenting something they've never tried before. Welcome to Marsha's Tag Challenge. What does it entail? You just have to create a tag. Yes, it can be a tag by itself. Yes, it can be a tag featured on a card. Yes, it can be a tag attached to something. Lots of options make lots of fun!
This is my card with a tag for this week's challenge. I used the new Peekapoo Peach card stock and stamp pad and paired it with the Tip Top Taupe. The stamp set is Choose Happiness, one of my favourites.

WW72 Watercooler Wednesday Colour Challenge
This week on the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is a colour challenge. This week Jean Fitch has decided to feature all five of the brand new 2016-18 In-Colors. But don't let that scare you away. You can use 3 or more of those wonderful colours to create your card.
Colour challenges force one to use just the colours in the challenge, plus a neutral which is "free". It's not always easy to stay within the palette, but that's why we have challenges---to force ourselves to work outside our comfortable "boxes".
I was able incorporate four of the five new incolours in my card this week. I just love the Botanical Blooms stamp and diecuts set and used them on the Joy-fold card. I used Emerald Envy for the card base and Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, and Flirty Flamingo for the flowers. Wild Wasabi made up the leaves, with Emerald Envy for the accent. The sentiment inside is from the retired stamp set Botanicals for you and is stamped in Emerald Envy.
Here is the outside:
Here is the first opening. Used the Botanical Blooms stamp set to add the colour
Used the "Botanicals for you" stamp set for the sentiment. |

This week Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is
This week Heidi Weaver is bringing a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. Those who love techniques will find one or two that could be included. This is like the tic-tac-toe game: you can pick three boxes in a row, going horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Your choices are what you will use in creating your card.
For my card this week, I chose the first vertical line - with Birthday, Emboss Resist and Any shade of Blue.
I used Whisper White for the background and matted it on Bashful Blue card stock, and used Versa Mark and clear embossing powder and the stamps from the Choose Happiness stamp set. Bashful Blue and Wild Wasabi stamp pads were used. The die cut from Memory Box is Happy Birthday Garland. The sentiment on the inside is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.
