This week the Watercooler Wednesday challenge is a sketch by Kath.
Lots of inspiration from Kath's challenge.
I choose to make a Valentines' card. Here is the front.
and the inside of the card
I started with Pink Pirouette card stock and layered Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and a long retired Valentines' DSP. I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets die cut and the hearts from the Up and Away Framelits. The sentiments are from retired sets of I (Heart) Hearts, Filled with Love and Valentine Defined. I finished the card with three pink rhinestones.
Thanks for looking at my card.
What a lovely Valentine! Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteBetty, what a wonderful Valentine! I love the way you've interpreted Kath's sketch and, of course, the colours you've used. Great job using the Swirly Scribbles along with some of the retired products. I love that understated background DSP and the way you continued the theme inside the card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteBetty Lee, Thanks for sharing your card in the Watercooler Wednesday. I love your take on the challenge sketch. It is a beautiful Valentine's card and your use of the glitter paper. The inside is as beautiful as the outside. Great job!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the Watercooler Wednesday challenge Betty Lee. It's been a while! I'm loving the soft colours and that beautiful glimmer paper you've used for your Valentine card. Awesome. Swirly Scribbles is one of my favourite die sets from this year's catalogue and it's great to see how you used it for this sketch challenge.
ReplyDeleteSweet card! Thanks for joining us this week at Watercooler Wednesday. Please join us again!
