WWC55 Jeans Colour Challenge

In  this week's Watercooler Wednesday challenge,  Jean Fitch has provided us with a beautiful inspiration photo for this challenge.  This photo was actually taken by Jean of one of her stunning rings.  She has also added a colour palette based on our Stampin' Up! colours to indicate which are the colours for this challenge.

Colour challenges force one to use just the colours in the challenge, plus a neutral which is "free".  It's not always easy to stay within the palette, but that's why we have challenges---to force ourselves to work outside our comfortable "boxes".

This week I chose a Fun Fold to use with this colour challenge.  I used the retired stamp set Fabulous Florets and also a retired DSP called Beyond the Garden.

I substituted the Wild Wasabi colour for the Mint Macaron, but was able to use all the other colours in my card.  Here it is:

Another card for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge WWC53.

For this challenge, Heidi Weaver has provided us with a wonderful sketch.

For my card, I chose a Gate Fold Card, with Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette and Birthday Bouquet DSP.  The stamp set is a retired set called Valentine Defined, and I used Spellbinders Heart Squares die cut on the outside and inside of the card.  One of my recent purchases was Stampin Up Envelope liner die cut and I made a matching envelope with the Birthday Bouquet DSP.

and the inside uses another stamp from the Valentine Defined set and you can see the matching envelope.

Thanks for looking,

Another week for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  This week it is WWC 52 and anything goes !!!

Here is the card I have chosen to enter into the Challenge

The background is a paint chip that I was able to match to  the Rich Razzleberry card stock.  The stamp from Butterfly Basics was stamped in VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The Butterfly Thinlits die was used for the butterfly.

And here is the inside, using the Rich Razzleberry ink:

And finally, one of my favourite stamps on the back of the card.  I think this is TRUE!!

Thanks for looking.

WWC51

This week the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is a  CAS (clean and simple) challenge with Bev challenging us to include a star or stars in a clean and simple project.
What is clean and simple?  According to the challenges which host only CAS (clean and simple), this is what one aims to do:  CAS (acronym for "clean and simple":  A design of card with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments, most often single layered or minimal layers.

Here is my card for this week's challenge:

and the inside:

I hoped to show a shooting star as the concept and used the following:

Stamping Ink:
Night of Navy
Summer Starfruit

Stamp Sets:
Work of Art
Festival of trees (for the star)
Sky is the Limit (for the sentiment)

Also used Versamark and clear embossing powder

Welcome to our new Watercooler Wednesday challenge.  This week the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge features a sketch by Susan Horr.

Here is my card to enter for the challenge

The card base is Whisper White with the Woodland embossing folder.  The tree and Santa were fussy cut from the Home for Christmas DSP.  The window frame is the Hearth and Home Thinlits Die.  The sentiment is from the Joyful Season stamp set.
