March 26, 2016

This weeks challenge from Watercooler Wednesday is for CAS (clean and simple) challenge and this time Marsha Reed is challenging us to make it all about birthdays in a clean and simple project.  What is clean and simple?  According to the challenges which host only CAS (clean and simple), this is what one aims to do:  CAS (acronym for "clean and simple":  A design of card with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments, most often single layered or minimal layers.

Here is my entry into this week's challenge.  I used the retired stamp set Happy Together and for the background the Work of Art stamp set.  The colours were Tip Top Taupe, Bashful Blue and Cherry Cobbler for the little quail.

Thanks for looking

  7. You've certainly mastered the art of CAS Betty Lee. I love the simplicity of this card and it could be used for almost any occasion.....thinking of you, sympathy, hello, etc. TFS I love this card. Makes me wish I had purchased the Happy Together stamp set....always makes me smile.
